This small farmhouse will delight lovers of beautiful homes. It's actually two independent holiday cottages linked together, making it the perfect '3 stars' rental for big family groups.
Recently restored, this self-catering accommodation in the Ardennes province of Liège combines modern comforts with the warm stone typical of the region. Designed and decorated with real care and attention to detail, it has a delightful authentic character that offers you a relaxing getaway in surroundings that are both rustic and modern.
With 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, there's plenty of space and privacy for up to 10 persons, and the large living areas - cosy living rooms, spacious dining-rooms and well-lit, fully-equipped kitchens - offer you everything you need for a comfortable vacation where relaxation is the order of the day. Outside the house you'll find a beautiful fenced garden of some 6000m², where you can enjoy a quiet glass of wine or gather everyone together for a cook-out on the wood-fired barbeque.
The gardens include a large pond, so young children will need to be supervised at all times.
A great location near Sprimont in the province of Liège means you'll have plenty to do on your family holidays. At Comblain-au-Pont, for example, you can visit the amazing Grotte de l'Abîme, and find out all about the fascinating lives of bats. At Aywaille, you'll find Le Monde Sauvage Aywaille, a fascinating wildlife park where you can explore by car, on foot, or by taking a ride on a miniature train. And don't miss Chaudfontaine, which can boast the only hot springs in Belgium - as you might guess from its name. Here you can visit the Source-O-Rama, where your kids can find out all about water, and follow the amazing journey of a single drop from the raincloud to the bottle. At Sprimont itself, there's an interesting and informative Museum of Stone, set in a beautiful old power station.

Please note that one of the 6 bedrooms is a mezzanine, and that the wi-fi has a limited range.
Although this rental is specifically designed to welcome families of up to 10 persons, the owner is willing to consider other groups who wish to book holidays, such as couples or a group of friends. (There may be an additional deposit.)
This house is primarily intended for family groups. Non-family groups may nevertheless be allowed, subject to the acceptation of the owner and with a possible additional guarantee.
