Can I book a cottage that is "intended to accommodate families" with my friends?

If the owner agrees, it is possible to stay with friends in a cottage dedicated to families.

On the description section of some cottages, you can find mentions such as:

« “This holiday home is mainly intended to accommodate family groups. However, non-family groups may be accepted in agreement with the owner and a possible increase in the deposit.

 “This house is intended for families only. "

If you wish to book this type of holiday home, Ardennes-Etape will ask you for some additional information:

  • the nature of your group (family or not);
  • the age of the youngest and the oldest person person in your group;
  • the purpose of your stay.

You will also need to confirm your acceptance of some special rental conditions. Then, this information will be sent to the owner, who will decide whether or not to confirm your stay.

Our advice

Provide all neccessary information when requesting your booking, otherwise the owner could refuse to give you access to the cottage upon your arrival.
