Situated in the quiet village of Beaumont in the province of Hainaut, this spacious 3-star holiday cottage was entirely renovated by the new owners to guarantee you comfortable holidays.
The natural surroundings and the peaceful beauty of this place will be a nice framework for couple holidays (or for 3 persons if you come with a child). This spacious single storey self-catering accommodation consists of 2 bedrooms: one is equipped with a standard double bed and the other one lies in the little tower. You child will love climbing the little ladder to get up there. The bathroom is big enough for two adults and one child. And it is well equipped: a shower, a washbasin, a toilet and a hair-dryer. After a long trail in the woods or a visit to the Tour Salamandre in Beaumont, just enjoy the delicious meal you prepared with the functional kitchen (oven, micro-wave oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and a small place to eat).
Do you feel like lazing on the sofa? Organise a movie party thanks to the television and DVD player.
Your vast garden will ensure you a nice view on the surroundings. If the weather allows it, do not hesitate to take the barbecue, the garden furniture and the parasol out to enjoy a delicious meal with all the family. Thanks to its fence, the garden will guarantee a safe stay to the children.
The province of Hainaut offers a wide range of activities for your stay. Not far the French border, you will quickly get through. If you prefer to stay in Belgium, the town of Mons is only 35 minutes away. In 2015, Mons was elected European capital of culture and exhibitions about Van Gogh and le Borinage are organised. A must go.
Other towns like Tour Salamandre was founded in the 11th century by Countess Richilde of Hainaut. It hosts many miniatures of Charles de Croÿ about the time of Napoleon and Victor Hugo. The last restoration work were done between 1952 and 1955. The best time of the year to visit the Tour Salamandre is between May and Octobre.
Staying in a former conciergerie is a unique experience. The region of Beaumont is the departure point for fun family excursions in the province of Hainaut.
While you visit the Clos des Zouaves in Thuin. The distillery of Biercée also produces the Eau de Villé, the P'tit Peket, the Poire Williams N°1, l'Arlequin and raspeberry and plum eau-de-vies.

Mooi huisje, heerlijk rustig met eekhoorntjes in de tuin.
Geweldig! Prachtig huisje, netjes, schoon, mooi. Voelde als thuis komen. Festival werden wij voor gewaarschuwd en heeft ons wakker gehouden. Maar dit is onze eigen keuze geweest. Niks op te merken aan het verblijf. Misschien een jets breder/langer bed. Wij waren zeer tevreden. Aanrader!
Wij vonden het een fijn om onze vakantie in te verblijven. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De locatie is mooi en erg rustig.
Net vakantiehuisje, alles was aanwezig en het was schoon
het vakantie huis was voor ons een uitstekend verblijf en heb als enige opmerking dat de zitbank ( zetel ) in de woonkamer niet echt goed zitten was . Voor de rest was alles ok en heel netjes .
De vakantiewoning is gelegen aan een mooie, ruime tuin in een rustige omgeving. In de directe omgeving zijn er naast wandelen of fietsen weinig andere activiteiten te vinden. De woning is geschikt voor twee volwassenen en de inrichting is compleet. De ontvangst was hartelijk en de eigenaar is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Aandachtspunt is het bed wat smal en relatief kort is gezien de huidige standaarden.

klein en niet meteen leuk dorpje in buurt om iets te eten of drinken, maar wel gezellig ingericht heel vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw heel grote tuin wat in de zomer meerwaarde zal zijn, enkel jammer dat het prachtige uitzicht wat belemmerd was vanuit onze ramen
Maison située dans un endroit très calme entouré de verdure. Idéal pour un w-e reposant. La propreté des lieux et le matériel mis à disposition sont impeccables. Maison située dans le fond du jardin des propriétaires. Ceux-ci sont très accueillants, discrets et disponibles. Très bel endroit !
Fijn, Rustig. Behalve 1e weekend toen er een festival bleek te zijn in het dorp tot 04.00 uur in de ochtend met luide muziek toen hebben we 1 nacht elders in een hotel geslapen. Jammer dat we er niet van op de hoogte waren anders waren we na het weekend gekomen. Eigenaar dacht dat we het wisten omdat hij het door had gegeven aan jullie. Bood aan om 2 nachten langer te blijven wat voor ons niet lukte. Fijne en zorgzame mensen
Heel warm ontvangst. Lieve eigenaars. Zeer rustig gelegen, voldoende privacy!
