In this large 3 star holiday cottage, families or groups of friends will feel immediately at ease. Is it because of the charm of the old stones and the house’s noble materials or because of the personalized decoration in each of its six bedrooms? It's probably a bit of both!
Ideal for a family gathering, each couple will find a room with charming decor and everyone will appreciate the comfort of having a private bathroom in each of the guest rooms. Kids will love the comic themed room, while grandparents or disabled guests (PRM) will appreciate the functionality of the ground floor bedroom. The bathroom of this guest room is arranged accordingly.
The well-equipped kitchen opens on to the dining room and the owner, who is your neighbour, wanted to make it as functional as possible. These two rooms communicate with a comfortable living room, which is warmed by an efficient wood-burning stove; so you can spend some pleasant evenings by the fireplace. For the comfort of the group, Internet connection is also available free of charge.
As soon as the weather is fine, you can also enjoy the pleasant garden and its large covered terrace, which is ideal to prepare some unforgettable barbecues!
The farm is located in the heart of a small hamlet between Houffalize and Bastogne, just a few kilometres from the Luxembourg border. A RAVeL close to the cottage will allow you to explore the region by bike.
Are you staying with your family? We recommend a short excursion to Houtopia: this recreational park allows both young and old to discover the history of Houffalize. A little further on, the Bastogne War Museum reminds you of the memorable battle of the Ardennes in an exciting way.
Sports enthusiasts: head to Moulin Bock: Adventure Sports, where you can choose from a wide range of outdoor activities. If you still have some energy to spare, complete your day with a Paintball session.
This is a place where it is really great to stay and which will charm you with its typical Ardennes atmosphere.
The area and its forests are also very pleasant during the off-season. So why not explore it in winter? The house is particularly charming at this time.

Zeer goed uitgeruste woning
Alles aanwezig, om een topvakantie te beleven. Elke kamer zijn eigen badkamer (tijdwinst), voldoende zitruimte en de keuken is top! (alles dubbel aanwezig, fijn met meerdere families). De gastheer Xavier is heel vriendelijk, staat je graag te woord (in het nederlands!) en via whatsapp altijd te bereiken. Wij waren daar laatste weekend paasvakantie en heel mooi weer gehad, dus tuin en BBQ met overdekte terras enorm van kunnen van genieten met heel de familie + 2 honden.
Een aanrader!! Zeer goed ontvangen door de vriendelijke eigenaar Xavier. Zeer comfortabele en goed uitgeruste keuken. Vooral de ruimte en de indeling van het huis en tuin is een pluspunt. Ondanks de vriestemperaturen makkelijk te verwarmen met enkel de pelletkachel en houtkachel. Prachtige wandelingen in de buurt. We hadden het erg naar ons zin!
