This holiday home is as warm and charming as the owner herself. She roundly carried out this lodging and renovation project with great taste, so that her guests would feel immediately at home.
Everything has been thought down to the last detail with great results. This fully equipped holiday home features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a TV lounge with fireplace, a mezzanine lounge with bar and table football, internet connection, and a large garden where your dog is welcome.
The house still keeps some of its former charm. The kitchen, with low vaulted ceilings and some period objects for decoration, features all the amenities of a modern well-equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, etc.). The kitchen overlooks the garden and opens to the dining room so you can enjoy your group’s company while cooking.
The dining room is a nice bright room, thanks to the bay window that gives access to the terrace and to the vast private property, which ends with a pond and a deer enclosure.
In any season, you will love having a drink in the evening by the fireplace, while others can indulge in a table football match in the second lounge on the mezzanine.
The four bedrooms have each been decorated in different themes and colours. On the ground floor, you can choose between the bedroom with the blue shutters or the brown room. These two bedrooms share the shower room located on the ground floor.
Upstairs, the bedroom with the pink flamingos or the master suite with private bathroom will provide you with some sweet nights of sleep in the Ardennes.
You will also love the garden where you will find a semi-covered terrace with barbecue area, a huge lawn of 30.000m² with garden furniture, and of course the deer enclosure where you can admire these majestic creatures in a natural setting. In the autumn, you can hear them bolving. This holiday cottage is on an exceptional location on the edge of a forest classified as a Natura 2000 site.
And the icing on the cake: pets are welcome here. Even your dog will love this holiday home and will not want to leave again :-)

Een hele fijne rustige plek voor het gezin. De kachel van de hottub is vervangen en die werkt goed. Aanrader!
Had a very nice stay in a beautiful scenery in the mids of nature. Very private house with deers running in the back of the garden. The ceilings are quite low so not suitable for people +1,90m. Kitchen/ bathrooms are somewhat outdated. Only problem was the upstairs toilet in one of the bedrooms. If you do a number 2 and flush, it comes up through the bathtub because the pipes are not big enough for a toilet. They have a cruncher installed but it doesn't work properly. That said I will book again
Zeer mooie, rustige ligging.
Het is een eenvoudig vakantiehuis met plek voor 8 mensen. Helaas er is maar één badkamer voor iedereen toegankelijk want de badkuip en andere wc liggen ín een van de slaapkamers. De woonkamer en eetkamer zijn goed en sfeervol, maar de keuken is té eenvoudig en we misten wat keukengerei en dienschalen. De sauna en de buitenbad worden opgewarmd met hout, en het duurt heel lang tot het warm wordt, plus je moet de temperatuur en stoken altijd in de gaten houden.

Mooi gelegen, met zicht op de herten. Jammer van 1 toilet niet bruikbaar.
Het huis was prima mooie ligging mooie omgeven alleen een paar dingen jammer - hottub was lek 2 bakken hout verstookt niet warm te krijgen dus niet ingezeten - de flotteur van de ws in de slaapkamer is lek daarom ging de sfa om het kwartier pompen in die kamer was niet te slapen - en er zijn geen gemakkelijke tuinstoelen - hebben zelf hout in het dorp gehaald om de open haar de de sauna te stoken Het was een heerlijke week wel wat jammer van de - punten
Mooie ligging, heerlijk rustig.
dit huis heeft een schoonmaak- en opknapbeurt nodig. Neemt niet weg dat de ligging en tuin fijn zijn. Gelukkig hadden we goed weer en zijn we veel buiten geweest
Prachtige ligging met dito uitzicht, dichtbij de Franse grens met tal van extra mogelijkheden daar. Binnen de mogelijkheden netjes verzorgd maar ook nog voldoende punten ter verbetering. Bovenaan staat de zeer onhygiënische keuken, maar ook elders is betere schoonmaak vereist. Veel ervaringen van voorgaande reizigers lijken nog altijd actueel, waaronder lekkage van de hottub. Fijne verrassing was de goedwerkende airco! Ook genoeg kastruimte voor kleding en dergelijke!
Charmant huisje met een heerlijke tuin
Zalige rustige ligging met prachtig uitzicht. Met jong en oud genoten v. hot tub en Sauna . Zalig ook met de hond.
Le feu ouvert est un réel moment zen
Mooi plekje, grote tuin met hertjes! Hottub duurt vrij lang om volledig warm te krijgen, daarom extra hout mee. Maar helemaal leuk! Sauna ook lekker!
Geweldig huisje voor een weekendje uit onder vrienden. Prachtige ligging, heel charmant in een mooie streek!
Het huisje was gezellig en proper. We wisten voor aankomst dat er geen hout aanwezig was via de eigenaar maar toen we toekwamen was er ook helemaal niets om het vuur aan te steken. Als ik de eigenaar contacteerde, kreeg ik geen antwoord. We hebben dan de volgende dag zelf een aansteker gekocht. Dit vond ik wel jammer. We vonden het ook zeer moeilijk in te schatten hoeveel hout we voor alles (hottub, sauna en huisje) nodig hadden. Als ik dit vroeg dan kreeg ik enkel antwoord voor de hottub.
Leuke locatie en aangenaam huis. Jammer dat het sanitair niet goed werkt en dat de keuken niet uitgerust is om te koken voor 8 personen. Ook wisten we niet op voorhand dat er geen hout aanwezig was waardoor we geen gebruik hebben kunnen maken van de welness.
Rustig gelegen woning hebben een top weekend gehad . Een beetje meer gerief zou van pas komen (Glazen ...)
Een heel charmant huis, temidden de natuur, stilte en een heel mooie tuin met sauna, jacuzzi en prachtige herten. Heel veel wandelmogelijkheden en pittoreske dorpjes op korte afstand. Ideaal om te herbronnen.
Prima huis om met de familie te verblijven. Mooie ligging, wat oubollig maar gezellig ingericht. Hot Tub is lastig warm te krijgen, was bijna een dag stoken. Met een hout gestookte sauna, een hot tub, en twee houtkachels binnen is 2 mandjes hout wel een beetje weinig. Hebben bij de brico in Chimay extra hout gekocht.
C'est une excellente maison
Heerlijk huis om volledig tot rust te komen! Het is wat verouderd en niet al te schoon maar door zijn charme kijk je hier volledig doorheen! Met de hertjes in de achtertuin de hottub en sauna een perfecte plek om heerlijk te ontspannen! Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!
Zeer mooie ligging vlakbij bos en met zicht op rendieren. Romantisch huis. Perfect voor een weekendje weg van de drukte ;-)
Ik raad deze woning niet aan als je veel belang hecht aan hygiëne. Wel leuke locatie en mooie omgeving.
