The company has launched a new offer, the only one of its kind in Belgium: renting and driving river boats without a licence! Without a licence, really? Yes, really! Maybe you're thinking, “That must be fun but also a little stressful”? Don’t worry, we’ve thought of everything. If the idea of captaining this mini-yacht on your own is sapping your enthusiasm somewhat, know that a two-hour training session is included with a real captain who will introduce you to leisure boating. You’ll see, steering a boat won't hold any secrets for you any more!
Without a licence, really?
Then, that long-awaited moment will come, when you will take the helm of your own, private boat. 3… 2… 1… and you’re off on an adventure. You are now officially the captain, steering your ship down the river to discover the marvellous landscapes along the Meuse. And to make your day even better, you will be given a Boat Book. What will you find in this little guide? Technical information relating to navigation (very useful!) but also places to visit and special deals (restaurants, tourist attractions, etc.). Practical information
- Price: 600 euros per day for a boat (for seven or eleven people, depending on availability)
- Times: April to September, booking required and dependent upon the availability of the boats.
- Setting off from: Avenue Winston Churchill (just next to Dinant bridge).
- Parking: you can park at the SNCB car park, five minutes’ walk from the boarding point.
- The boats are not accessible to Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRM).
