What is the deposit for and how do I get it back?

The deposit is a set amount left in guarantee in the event of damage or non-compliance with cleaning. If everything is in order after your stay, you will get it back within 15 days of your departure.

The deposit is a sum that you deposit, before your stay, as a guarantee for the owner in the event of damage or non-compliance with the cleaning rules. It is paid either by bank transfer or in cash to the owner, depending on the case.

How to get your deposit back? 

  • If everything is in order after your stay (no damage or breach of the cleaning rules), your deposit will be refunded within 15 days after your stay.
  • Unless otherwise stated, the deposit is refunded by bank transfer to the account you have provided (on your Ardennes-Etape customer account or to the owner, as the case may be). 

Tip

Double check the BIC and IBAN numbers that you entered on your Ardennes-Etape customer account, because the deposit will be refunded to this account number.
