What is the deposit for and how do I get it back?

The security deposit is a sum of money you pay before your stay, and it used as a guarantee in case of damage or non-compliance with the cleaning rules. This amount is either paid by bank transfer or in cash to the owner. If everything is found to be in order after your stay, you will receive the amount back within 15 days after your departure.

How to get your deposit back?
If everything is found to be in order after your stay (there is no damage whatsoever and the house has been properly closed), the deposit will be refunded to you within 15 days after your stay.
Unless otherwise stated, the deposit is refunded by bank transfer to the account you have provided (on your Ardennes-Etape customer account or to the owner, as the case may be).

Tip
Ensure that we have your banking information. Go to the “My profile” section of your Customer Space. Enter or update the IBAN of your bank account and your BIC code. The latter can be found on the back of your bank card or on a bank statement. Finally, click “Save” at the bottom of the page. Your information will then be updated. In you Customer Space, you can also view, at any time, the scheduled date for the reimbursement of your deposit by selecting the holiday in question.
