If you think that the word « holidays » should always be associated with peace, serenity and authenticity, this small farmhouse for 6 persons situated in an idyllic setting in the Ardennes will be the perfect match for you.

You will immediately be charmed by the authentic character of the premises, the magnificent garden as well as the inside of this 3 star holiday cottage. The lovely furniture, the wooden doors and the beamed-ceiling rooms create a unique atmosphere. Three comfortable and neatly decorated bedrooms as well as a retro style bathroom are to be found on the first floor. On the ground floor, you will be able to relax in the 2 cozy sitting-rooms or in the dining-room. During the summer, a barbecue will await you in the beautiful garden while the fondue and raclette sets that you will find in the well-equipped kitchen will be great to use during the winter. The children will also be happy to find a table tennis table in the garage that may host 2 vehicles. There are also 4 parking spaces outside.

Located just a few kilometers from Bastogne, you will have the opportunity to discover a pleasant town with a rich historical heritage. At the end of the Second World War, Bastogne was the center of the Battle of the Bulge and the whole town bears witness of these events. If you want to know more about this battle and its historical context, head to the remarkable Bastogne War Museum. Afterwards, you may wish to relax with a visit to the Bisons Farm where you will be able to admire buffalos which are rare in the region. During the winter, why not go to the ski slopes of Neu Perlé  just 11 km away from your holiday house. If you are hungry after that, stop by at the Enclos des Frênes restaurant.

Very nice house with lots of space and a large, beautiful garden. The house is very well equipped and the owner was very friendly. Note that there's a small creek/river running through the garden and there is no fence to separate it from the river, the pond in the back or the road, which might be a safety issue with small children. There are beautiful walking tours in the surroundings, and there's a (free!) bus stop right in front of the house. Overall we had a very nice stay here.
